Why Math?

Math is used in every day life. Personally you can use it for maybe how many calories you ate yesterday or how many pound you have lost from last month. 
Overall you could use math practically by measuring how tall the building was or the surface area around a baseball field. 
Also even in scripture in Revelation 21: 15-21 the angels used had a gold sort of ruler and measured Jerusalem. 
So obviously math is really important and there is not a lot of reasons why it could not be used. 
The doorway in math that stands out to me is the practical because like I said in Revelation 21: 15-21 the angels sent from God used rods or rulers to measure the new Jerusalem temple. And I think it is so cool because even when God could just know the measurements he sent His angels to do practical doorway of math.
